Product Review: Bathroom Facelift

It occurred to me several weeks ago: I have had the same shower curtain for longer than I care to admit without being embarrassed to give its actual age.  After all, it still looked good overall.  But, it was a bit faded.  The colors of the former shower curtain were rather subdued, and the design a fairly traditional rose pattern. I was going for the romantic pink look at the time.  But, as time passed, my tastes changed.  Additionally, I wanted and needed something to brighten up the bathroom, since the walls, tile, floor and fixtures are white and beige – a rather bland backdrop.  In short, it was time for something new.

Enter the candy stripe shower curtain.  I purchased it via amazon.com.  The colors pop, breathing new life and vibrancy into the bathroom décor.  The bathroom shown in the photo isn’t my bathroom, but it gives you an idea as to what the shower curtain looks like against a neutral background.  As the shower curtain is made of cloth, I need to use a shower curtain liner, also purchased via amazon.com.  This is perhaps the best shower curtain liner I have used, and I have used several different brands and types over the years.  It cleans up well, prevents mold and mildew, and has those little suction cups so the water from the shower doesn’t spill out all over the floor.

No; I didn’t keep the former shower curtain.  So, I have no “Before” and “After” comparison shots to show. My bad.
