As for what you label as arbitrary dates, I didn’t realize Memorial Day was one of them. I’ll pass your remark along to the veterans in my family, and see what they have to say about that. Why don’t you EDUCATE yourself about Memorial Day? You don’t know your history. There is NOTHING arbitrary about Memorial Day. Even Faux News acknowledges it as a significant holiday.

Furthermore, you seem to have overlooked my comment re: generations of Black Americans having persevered successfully? Go back and read it.

Additionally, I *do*identify myself as a blogger, first and foremost, but you seem to be sniffing out bloggers of color with the enthusiasm of a blood hound.

My fundamental problem with your argument, if one can label it as such, is you don’t acknowledge that racism exists, and that it adversely impacts ALL of us. Do you reside on planet Earth? As far as the “survival of the fittest” statement to which you eluded in your previous comment? It’s got eugenics tattooed all over it. Here it is: “Some facts of life, which it seems you can’t realize, is that the cream always rises to the top and that the strongest have the best chance of long-term survival. You can’t seem to acknowledge that.”

With that, I’m finished with you. I’m no longer interested in anything else you have to say. To converse further with a bigot is a waste of my time. As I said, there are plenty of outlets that will indulge you.

True to form, as per my own prediction, I have been labeled negatively for speaking the truth. I am accused of resorting to talking points, yet all responses to me are rife with talking points. You know you are in hackneyed cliche territory when antiquated terms like “Jim Crow” are dredged up. It’s the equivalent to if I cited the theory of eugenics in the conversation and it’s just as ridiculous. Who is truly living in the past?

You, teachermrw, have to make the issue of your color the central focus of your being. Why not instead identify yourself as simply a blogger, instead of a “blogger of color”?

First, you have misidentified the problem. I know many blacks who live prosperous lives and who aren’t mired in victimhood. They have real careers They have an education. They do not do drugs and they do not have criminal records. They do not sire children by multiple women and abandon them. They do not necessarily believe that Barack Obama is a messianic figure and the only “hope” for America.

Their primary advantage? They have the brains that they used to figure out the proper path through life.

This is a problem of the poor black urban underclass. They have the same problem as the poor white underclass who live in trailer parks. Lack of sufficient intellectual capital and interior motivation to be better than others around them.

And guess what, it has NOTHING to do with color!

Lastly, I don’t need an arbitrary date on a calendar to remind me to acknowledge what others have done in service to America.

The problem with people like you is you are bitter, angry, and resentful. I guess that is three problems. Additionally, you talk about what you perceive as being the “Black Problem”, but, what is yoursolution, besides polluting the comment boxes of bloggers of color with your bigotry and insults? Last, you use all of the classic, bigoted talking points to support your views. Seems to me, you’d like a return to “The Good Ole Days”, i.e. Jim Crow.

Speaking of conservatives, why not find some Conservative Black bloggers with whom to commiserate? They’re out there, and will gladly indulge you.

Stormfront? I am not a white supremacist or a neo-Nazi, far from it. I consider many black people subject to poverty conditions in urban hells their own worst enemies because their thinking is all wrong regarding why they are in the situation they are in.

If you can’t realize that, then you are are clueless as they are. But don’t worry, there are just as many stupid white people out there, too. They can’t figure out how to prosper, either, and are always looking for some taxpayer funded handout as the key to their happiness.
