I made several purchases recently for house and home, and for self.
First, the house and home purchases. After five years, I decided I needed a new doormat. Ok; the real reason is that it will be five years this month that I have resided in my wonderful apartment, and wanted to celebrate with something to mark the occasion. So, I purchased this lovely doormat. Tulips are my favorite flowers, so, the design suits. The doormat is constructed from coconut fiber. Some people don’t like it, because the mat does tend to shed a bit, but, I don’t mind that. I personally find the mat durable. The color does fade over time, but, I owned my previous coconut fiber mat for five years, and it held up well, even during the harsh New England winters.
Second, the purchases for self. I purchased this and this from Luv Naturals. It’s been ages since I have worn headbands, and so I am having fun with them. Also, it’s the first time that I have worn cloth headbands with an elasticized back. They are comfortable, and are made of quality fabric. I am currently transitioning, which means I m growing out my relaxer, and going back to my natural hair texture, and looking for ways to dress up my hair. Of course, one doesn’t need to be transitioning to wear nice headbands. LOL! I also purchased this and this. The comb is okay; I prefer my lifting comb, aka hair pick for detangling, but, I thought that since I am transitioning, an actual detangling comb would be the way to go. However, the proverbial jury is still out. I really like the hair stopper drain catcher, and am not sure why I had not purchased one prior.
Speaking of transitioning, I will discuss some of the products I have purchased recently in an upcoming post for my hair as I try to manage the two textures.
